Welcome to Ms. Peltzer's Class Site

Mrs. Peltzer has been teaching since 1996 at Pioneer Middle School. She began her career teaching sixth grade Math/Science-Language Arts. Then, she went on to teach History/Language Arts in eighth grade. After eight years of teaching Middle School Students, she decided to take a risk and move to the Elementary School a few years ago, and taught fourth grade. After a wonderful learning year, she decided to come home to her friends and family at the Middle School. Mrs. Peltzer received her Bachelor's Degree from Fresno State and has continued her education from the University of San Diego, UCLA, and Fresno Pacific College. Besides her teaching credential, she has a CLAD credential and an add on credential in English. She is also a consultant for the San Joaquin Valley Writing Project.

She is the mother of two grown sons and two grown daughters and eleven wonderful grandchildren. Her family is the joy of her life. Mrs. Peltzer loves to find creative ways to teach her students and is an avid poetry lover. She says that "teaching children is a work of service and love" and hopes to continue teaching at Pioneer as long as she is healthy and able to serve the children.
