Welcome to Mr. Hodson's Class Site

Hello, my name is Douglas Hodson and I am very excited to be a part of the Pioneer family. This is my 6th year teaching at Pioneer.

I was born in Fairbanks, Alaska but was raised here in Hanford since I was 2 years old. I am proud to call Hanford my hometown. After I graduated from Hanford High School, I attended College of the Sequoias and received by Associates Degree before transferring to Fresno State. I graduated from Fresno State in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology minoring in Victimology. After several years of working after college, I found my true calling to be teaching. In 2004, I began taking classes towards my teaching credential. In 2006, I received my multiple subject teaching credential from National University.

I have a beautiful wife Sarah and two daughters Dana, who is in the 7th grade and Brooke, who is in the 5th grade. Both attend Pioneer. Oh!  I can't forget my pets....Lassie our cat, Bambi our Chihuahua, Molly our Terrier and three horses Shadow, Bandit, and Patriot.  On my free time (if I have any) I love to golf, camp, fish, volunteer with the Hanford Police Dept., and of course spend time with my family.
