My name is Ruth Garcia and I began my carrer in education in 2001. In 2006 I became a part of the Pioneer Math and Science Team.  I have taught  4th to 7th grade at Hanford Elementary, Fresno Unified and now PUESD. I am a graduate of Fresno State University where I completed my Bachelors Degree and Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.

It is great to work and live in Hanford where there is a great sense of community. It is especially fortunate to work at Pioneer where the teachers work together to provide the students a great learning experience. When I am not teaching I love to watch movies (chick flicks), dance and travel. It is my goal to one day visit all of the continents.
