I have been teaching music in Hanford since 1989. This is my 11^th year at Pioneer. I have also taught the Video Production Class at Pioneer for the last 5 years. I am active in several professional organizations and have performed with many great musicians and bands.  I am a big college football fan and enjoy going to Fresno State Football Games.

I have been blessed with several recognitions including 2000 Kings County Teacher of the Year nominee and 2009 Tulare-Kings Music Educators Association Hall of Fame Award. I have been selected as the 2011-2012 Pioneer Union Elementary Teacher of the Year and was a finalist for 2012 Kings County Teacher of the Year! I would like to thank all of my family, friends, colleagues, and former students for these honors.

My wife teaches 1st grade at Frontier Elementary. I have a son who attends Fresno State and a daughter who attends Hanford West High School.
