Attention 7^th and 8^th graders:  Pioneer Middle School’s California Junior Scholarship Federation (CJSF) chapter is accepting applications from qualified members through March 22^nd.  CJSF fosters high standards of scholarship, service and citizenship and is available to 7^th and 8^th grade students who qualify based upon grades earned the previous reporting period.   Membership must be earned each reporting period and applications are accepted at the beginning of each new trimester.  Current 7^th and 8^th graders may apply for membership based upon grades earned 2^nd trimester of this year; applications are available in Rm. 407, and are due to Mrs. Acosta, CJSF Advisor, no later than 3:30 P.M., Friday, March 22^nd.  No late applications will be accepted.  Members for the 3^rd trimester will be posted outside Rm. 407 by Wednesday, April 3^rd.  For more information, please contact Mrs. Acosta at 584-0112, extension 2407, or acostam@puesd.k12.ca.us.
